It is still very rare in the fashion industry to see successful fashion designers of different races. Not only is it important to represent these differences in the models on the runway it is equally important to see clothing creators of varying ethnicity. Some of the designers listed here are local and some come from afar, they are all connected by their ability to break into an industry which is still learning to embrace differences.
