Mesese designs by Diforo is based in Boston. Her designs are greatly inspired by her traditional life back in her home country, Botswana. Diforo loves to blend German print fabrics with modern ideas when creating her functional pieces.
6 - WHAT HAS HELPED PROMOTE YOUR CAREER IN FASHION?
This was and still is self promotion. I joined the Boston Fashion Industry in 2002 and Shirley Willet, the founder & great designer at the time was running the meetup. I became one of her assistant organizers.
5 - WHICH DESIGNER WOULD YOU LIKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO COLLABORATE WITH?
In Boston, David Joseph ,Sharon Cox, Kinda Touma and Mark Miller. We have so much talent in Boston and I think my list can get longer . Internationally , David Tlale, a South African Fashion mogul.. Ohh .. That will be the day. In fact I just wrote him an invitation.. Haaa.

3 - HOW DO YOU BALANCE CREATIVITY WITH COMMERCE?
Creativity is priceless in my opinion, one puts a lot of thought to it, a lot of soul to it. On the other hand one needs to buy fabric, pay rent, fashion shows. Fortunately for me, I have a banking experience and have also worked as a credit counselor where creating budgets is very important so that really comes handy.

We have received a lot of positive feed back on our latest collection 45D. We will continue to listen to our fans.

I see myself as an established designer here at home and Internationally , creating for Mesese Designs by Diforo and successfully hosting a fashion tv, interviewing fashion designers and anything beauty!
